I have to admit that now I know the right rig tension to apply, it makes such a difference to the boat set up. The rig yesterday looked stunning even thought the sails are old and a wee bit tired. All the other setting were exactly as plan. Closing this one loop in the set up has made such a difference. My thanks to John Gill for the device that gives me the consistency.
