What would it be worth to you?

Supposing I told you that there was a way to accurately adjust the sheeting set up on any boat when your boat is out on the water.

Imagine being able to adjust your sheeting angle upwind from near centre line to 20- 30 mm away from the mainsheet post and adjust as the conditions vary. Imagine beaing able to turn a dial to ease the sheet by degree according to the condition. This would have been very handy at the worlds in Australia when one launched in calm condition and sailed out into 8-12 mph of wind and chop.

Imagine you could use a switch to sheet, 5 mm, 10mm, 15mm from the mainsheet post or any distance of your choice.

Once your sheet position is set you can use mixing to bring the sail partially back or to centre quickly using the sheeting stick. Very useful when coming off a start line of climbing above one of those irritating pinchers.

Imagine no longer. It can be done but what would it be worth to you to know how?

Hi Nigel

I have my sheeting on a three way switch and yes easy to do on a dial.

I come from a Rc sailplane background where we do lots of mixes on the Tx.
