Thought for the day - ICE

So my midweek sailing is scuppered. There was a perfect NE breeze at Frensham on Tuesday but as I watched a duck trying to land on the runway that was ice, I knew the morning would be spent in the clubhouse at our AGM drinking coffee and eating a hot cross bun.

Perhaps I would have more luck at Emsworth on Thursday where the water level was right and the wind straight the pond. No such luck. Racing cancelled due to ice.

Fingers crossed, Lincoln will have thawed out by Sunday.

At least there are a few events in Feb to get the season going. Hope you are having more luck than us Brits with the weather.
