Thought for the day- work to do

Nothing can prepare you for starting at the nationals. 20 boats of similar standard all lined up. One slip and you are left with a trail of dirty air. Details will come later but in summary I have lots more to learn on starting technique getting clear and sailing the boat faster. The report card would say steady B fleet material but the difference to step up is marginal. More later in the week.

Take heart Nigel, just watched Jonas’s video with Peter Stollery turning a 2 boatlength lead on the A fleet into a 9th over the course of the race! Tough conditions.
